Located in downtown Montreal, our hotel newly renovated 614 rooms and suites, as well as our 23 meeting and banquet rooms.

In order to cope with a constantly changing market, we are looking for a candidate that will provide our customors with an innovative, unique and memorable experience.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Restaurant Manager must plan, organize, direct and control the activities of the restaurant, bar, room service and banquets as well as the kitchens in order to provide quality customer service and ensure the efficiency and profitability of his department.

Job description:
– Lead, motivate and inspire a team of catering professionals in their daily activities
– Contribute to business objectives by maintaining superior standards in customer service and operations management
– Plan human resources and staff development needs
– Control labor costs
– Regularly review and assess the level of customer satisfaction, provide the necessary ideas to follow the evolution of demand and the market
– Participate in collaboration with its director in the execution of development strategies in concert with the other sectors of the hotel
– Develop schedules, participate in the hiring and training of employees
– Perform inspections of work areas and ensure the application of hygiene, sanitation and occupational health and safety standards
– Follow up and ensure sound inventory management
– Manage unforeseen and / or difficult situations, react quickly and professionally while ensuring the implementation of corrective methods
– Manage all daily F&B operations according to budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
– Maintain excellent levels of internal and external customer service
– Identify customer needs and proactively address all of their concerns
– Lead the F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and evaluating talented staff
– Establish goals, key performance indicators, timetables, policies and procedures
– Comply with all health and safety regulations
