Business Analyst – GCDocs

Our client has an urgent requirement for a Senior Business Analyst to lead the creation of SMART UI requirements for the pilot and finalize the requirements based on results prior to the enterprise rollout and conduct a Permission Model Comparison Solution Analysis for their GCDocs implementation.

GCdocs Phase II includes the implementation of a new user interface.

The upgraded GCdocs implementation introduced a new interface known as SMART User Interface (SMART UI).

As part of the department’s collaboration initiative and the ultimate goal of increasing user adoption, our client seeks to roll out the SMART UI interface to the enterprise.

Tasks include but are not limited to: Perform business analyses of both the business and technical requirements needed for the Pilot and Enterprise Analysis of what is the best approach i.e.

service offering or a full rollout of the Smart UI and it can be a repeatable process In coordination with the business areas, schedule and coordinate the Smart UI rollout Review documentation gathered from the technical team on other GoC departments similar in size to CSC that have a permission model in place and develop a Comparison Solution Analysis.

Deliverables may include: Business Requirements document for both the pilot and for the enterprise Draft/Final Recommendations based on the assessment/results of the pilot A Smart UI engagement Rollout Schedule Comparison Solution Report of our Client’s Permission Model against other GoC departments Weekly reports on the status/progress of the deliverables Mandatory Must have a University Degree or College/CEGEP Diploma related to information system management, business, business administration, commerce, computer science, information technology, or science from a recognized post-secondary institution.

(A copy of each degree or diploma must be provided.) Ten (10) years of experience within the past fifteen (15) years performing the following tasks: Evaluating the development and documentation of detailed statements of requirements; Developing comparative solution analysis and recommendations; Identifying information, procedures, and decision flows; Identifying or developing and documenting information architecture such as database content, structure, application subsystems, and data dictionaries.

Five (5) projects each with a minimum duration of six (6) months experience in each of the technologies, software, tools and techniques:GCdocs Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Outlook ADGA commits to putting diversity into action to build a stronger, more representative team and help our customers and communities thrive.
